*For WINTER (Highs <80 degrees)* - We aim for 1/4in accumulation per week. This can be achieved by watering 1x per week at 10 min/zone (pop ups) or 15 min/zone (rotors). This will ensure your lawn is not starved and that the grass root systems will continue to develop.
* We are aiming for a certain amount of ACCUMULATION per week. Water according to the WEATHER, not according to the CALENDAR. If nature has given us the target accumulation amount for the week via rain, we should not be watering extra - this can lead to fungal issues. Each watering session outside of winter is aimed at providing ~0.5 inches of accumulation. "High Temp" refers to high temperatures for the week. For example, if we are hitting even just one high temperature in the 80s during a given week, you should aim for 1 inch accumulation for the week. Hitting the 90s? 1.5 inch per week. 95+? 2 inches per week.
